Black History in Business Luncheon: A Century of Black History Commemorations

February 11, 2026 at 11:30am | Campus Center Ballroom

It is an honor to welcome our keynote speaker for this year’s Black History in Business Luncheon, Ryan Cameron, an Emmy Award–winning radio personality, host, entrepreneur, and humanitarian whose career exemplifies excellence, influence, and impact.

A proud Georgia native with more than 25 years in the entertainment industry, Ryan Cameron is a broadcasting icon. He is the recipient of two Emmy Awards and has been inducted into both the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame and the Black Radio Hall of Fame. He currently hosts the #1 afternoon show on WAMJ Majic 107.5/97.5, and his voice reaches audiences around the world through radio, television, and even global video game franchises. Most recently, he launched The Ryan Cameron Uncensored Show, now nationally syndicated through Urban One’s Reach Media.

Beyond media, Ryan Cameron has made history in sports and business as the first African American Public Address Announcer for the Atlanta Hawks, later serving in the same role for the Atlanta Falcons. He is also a founding partner of The Threaded Agency, a global sports branding firm, and has expanded his creative reach as a producer and director, with multiple television projects on TV One

Equally important is his dedication to community impact. In 2002, he founded the Ryan Cameron Foundation, which empowers underserved youth through leadership development, health education, and violence prevention—positively impacting thousands of young people across Atlanta, including the development of a Gates Millennium Scholar. His leadership and influence have earned him recognition as one of Atlanta Magazine’s 55 Most Powerful People in Atlanta.

Ryan Cameron’s journey reflects a century-long legacy of Black excellence in business, rooted in leadership, innovation, and service. We are honored to have him join us as we commemorate the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future.
