UWG Cheer Hall of Fame and Alumni Game

The University of West Georgia will induct the 33rd class into the UWG Athletics Hall of Fame on October 10-11 as a part of Hall of Fame Weekend. You're invited to be part of the celebrations!

The weekend kicks off on Friday, October 10 with the Hall of Fame Induction Banquet. Tickets are now on sale for the event, available here.

6:30 PM Hall of Fame Banquet (UWG Campus Center Ballroom)
Semi-Formal Attire (Jacket & Tie)

Saturday October 11, 2025
The day starts with Wolf Walk at 11:30 AM, with a tailgate to follow and kickoff at 2:00 PM as the Wolves take the field. At halftime, we’ll proudly honor Sherry Cooney, who will be inducted into the Class of 2025 UWG Hall of Fame. Alumni will have the chance to purchase exclusive memorabilia and experiences to commemorate this historical occasion.

Tshirt-exclusive Hall of Fame event tshirt: cost $25

Sideline Experience: cost $25. Cheer on the field with the current members of the cheer team for the 2nd quarter of the game and then remain on the sideline to watch Sherry be recognized. Sideline access will only be available with this event purchase.
