UWG Women's Basketball Pickleball Tournament Sponsorship (Rally for the Wolves)

Dear Friends of West Georgia Women’s Basketball,

Please join me and RALLY FOR THE WOLVES by sponsoring our pickleball tournament to benefit the University of West Georgia women's basketball team!

We are looking to build on our historic 2024-25 season — we were the first team in UWG history to make a Division I postseason appearance, posted a 3.6 team GPA, and engaged in over 100 hours of community service — but WE NEED YOUR HELP to make this upcoming year our best one yet.

Our greatest need at this time is scholarship funding for our student-athletes, and every dollar we raise through this tournament will go directly to our players through athletic and academic aid.

Now that we are competing at the Division I level, we are eligible to give out additional athletic scholarships, as well as special academic scholarships called Alston Awards. These scholarships are $5,980 per year for students who are exceptional in the classroom and community. Our goal this year is to raise a minimum of $36,000 to distribute this additional scholarship money to help us stay competitive in recruiting and retaining top talent.

This is where we need your help. Please consider supporting our program by sponsoring our tournament and funding these scholarships. In return, we’d like to offer some unique promotion opportunities and other benefits for you and your organization. We have the privilege of coaching an incredible group of women, and we want to do everything we can to equip our student-athletes to be their best on and off the court.
